Macmine Construction Ltd is a newly established construction company in Wexford, founded by industry veterans Ken Byrne and Aidan Ward. With a combined experience of over 30 years, we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Meet Our Team

Ken Byrne
Ken Byrne
Ken began his career in Construction, attained a certificate in construction economics in WIT in 2004. From there he has worked for various Professional Firms and Construction Companies while also returning to part time education to further to further his qualifications in Construction Economics. He attained a Degree Lv.7 in Construction Economics in 2008 and a Deg (Hons) in Construction Economics Lv.8 from DIT in 2015.

Ken Has experience in a multitude of Construction Sectors, from airports, car showrooms, Nursing Home, Schools, Large scale residential and bespoke 1 off residential projects ranging anywhere from €200k to €20M.

Aidan Ward
Aidan Ward
Aidan initially completed his degree in Construction Economics in WIT before attaining his full Honours degree in Quantity Surveying from Napier University, Edinburgh (2010). Aidan worked in the UK until 2016 as a QS and Project Manager on projects across London and the South of England.

After returning to Ireland, Aidan continued to work as a Main Contractor QS and further develop into a Contracts Manager role. He has since obtained a Higher Diploma in Business Management and Supply Chain Logistics to enhance his management processes. Aidan has been involved in construction projects in the Residential, Education and Commercial Sectors ranging from €100k to €15m.
